Its a beautiful day!! I wish summer could have been more like today. The trees are all changing now-all reds and yellows. Its too bad it won't last long. Brian's doing his septic right now and I'm sitting on my butt playing on the computer. What a life eh! We've got all kinds of wood now. The fun is just beginning-bucking and splitting. Great fun--good exercise for sure. Its like my aerobics- bend, pick up log, put on splitter, lift handle-then do it all over again.
Tons of birds around. All getting ready to head south. Pretty cool I must say.

end of season
Well, my first blog ever. Whoduthunkit!! The season is coming to an end. Its sad that another year has flown by, but also a big sigh of relieve has settled over the campground. I can feel myself starting to relax a little now, but I still think of all the work to be done before we head out of here. Hoping to go to Mexico for a month or so. There was a bear here last night. We know this because he left a big blob of calling card on the road and made a bit of a mess to some of the garbage cans. Of course, one of our seasonal folks, whom shall remain nameless, is freaking out. Shes scared to death of bears. Well, me too, come to think of it!! We do still have a few campers here this weekend. It is supposed to be a lovely weekend. It sure wasnt a very hot summer and it was quite rainy.
